How much does it cost to hire a suction excavator?

What size of suction excavator do I need?
That comes down to access, depth and how much material you need to move. Compact units suit tight city streets and restricted sites, while larger machines are better for high-volume or motorway work. Tell us about your site and we’ll recommend the right machine from our fleet.
Can you dig through tarmac or concrete?
Suction excavators remove loose and broken material, so hard surfaces like tarmac, concrete or paving need to be cut or broken out first. Once the surface is open, the machine can quickly clear the ground below, including clay, sand, gravel and hardcore.
What happens to the excavated spoil?
Everything is collected in the machine’s debris tank, which keeps the site clean and avoids spoil heaps on the road or verge. Depending on the job, it can be taken away for disposal or kept for reuse.
Can you dig near trees and root protection areas?
Yes. Mechanical digging is often restricted within root protection areas, and suction excavation is one of the accepted ways to work there. It removes soil around roots without cutting or tearing them.
